The Importance of Good Health & Nutrition with Olympic US Alpine Ski Racer Tricia Mangan

Listen to this episode

Practicing and training create damage in the body naturally, and athletes need to fuel their bodies properly with a healthy diet and lifestyle. Tricia Mangan knows that this is critical to her performance; it’s helped her get to where she is today – in the Olympics!
Tricia is a US Alpine Ski racer, 2018 Olympian competing in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Bejing. Outside of skiing, she is an avid adventurer and a recent graduate of Dartmouth College with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Growing up in Buffalo, NY with five siblings, she took an alternative path to the US Ski Team. She was a chaotic skier from a tiny mountain in Western New York and only able to train a couple of times a week. Tricia always knew that her path made her the underdog, and this mindset fueled her passion for always improving on and off the hill.
